So hi again!

I had my wisdom teeth removed last Tuesday, so for the last 4 days I've been trying to take as much panadiene as I can to knock me out at night so I don't have to deal with the pain. Who knew that sitting around all day with a sore jaw could keep you up at night? Anyway, most of the pain has gone away and I've upgraded from eating Yogo (chocolate flavoured goo) to mashed potatoes and now I have next to me a bowl of Weetbix! I'm so proud of myself! :P
Not to mention I have to take about 5000 pills a day, some antibiotics, others penicillin etc. but nevermind, plus I got to keep my teeth! They're really gross and two of them are chipped, but I just find it funny and being an anatomy student kind of immunises you from the blood and guts, though I've never really been grossed out by them, only needles and things to do with manipulating the skin. For some reason that really gets to me, oh well :D.

Since I haven't been able to do anything (I've only JUST started talking again) I've been chowing through books, and loving it. I've read Evernight and Stargazer by Claudia Gray, Marley and Me by John Grogan, finished of Modoc by Ralph Helfer and Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins. Now I'm back onto reading Obernewtyn, though I'm only a third of the way through The Farseekers. I still have a fair way to go, not to mention the fact that I've bought Son of a Witch, which is the sequel to Wicked by Gregory Maguire, Neverwhere by Neil Gaiman, I bought the third book of Obernewtyn (Ashling) and I've ordered one more by I can't remember what it's called...oh well.

I also got my results back from uni today, and I passed every single unit! Yay! Not to mention I'm REALLY looking forward to this semester, the units I'm enrolled in sound reeeeeeaaaaaaaally interesting :D.
Oh, and I almost forgot, today's my brother's birthday (he's 26) so we're having some family round for dinner, hopefully I'll be able to eat it, but I think mum mentioned something about pumpkin soup so that sounds promising :D

Kay, well that's enough from me, how're you all doing?

Hey hey!
Awww, thanks, that means a lot!!

Yeah it has been a while. I've been pretty good, just finished my summer holidays and am back at uni doing neurology type stuff :D :D. I also managed to snag a spot in a band called the West Australian Symphonic band and I'm reeaaally enjoying it :D :D.
How about you? What have you been doing to keep yourself busy? :)

I've just finished my exams but have another set in the summer then I'm off to Uni! Woo (to study Media and History :) Can't wait) So I've just got to survive another few months or so lol. So I've just been working really, hanging out with friends when I have the time (which usually means we end up watching sports or in the bowling alley lol. I've become an awesome pool player) Also catching up on tv (Im now addicted to Supernatural)

So thats about it.

What sort of music do you play in the band? It sounds really awesome.

How come you've got two sets of exams? And good luck for them both! What subjects are you studying?
Media and History, that sounds really interesting. I always slightly regretted not learning more about history at high school, mainly because a lot of it is quitw fascinating :D.
Where do you work? I had a job over the holidays but I couldn't really fit it in with uni, so it kind of just dissintergrated lol.
Haha, I'm addicted to a show called Psych, it's about a really observant guy pretending to be a psychic to try and help solve crimes for the Santa Barbara Police Department. It's actually pretty funny. I'm such a wimp, supernatural is a bit spooky for me, especially when I'm up at 4am and have an over-active imagination lol.

I'm in a concert band and we play stuff like marches (we've got one at the moment which is soo cheesey haha) and orchestral music. It's heaps of fun :D :D.

I dont really know why we have 2 sets lol. We do a set in January, then learn a new topic and do more exams in June and then add up the points to get an overall grade. I'm doing history (which we study mainly WW2 and Civil rights in America), art and english (which i kinda regret taking, you can only do so much shakespeare before your head explodes. Plus Chaucer in middle english is rather hard) What are you studying?
I'm in between jobs at the moment lol. Trying to save up for a car for when I pass my test which is hopefully soon.

The band sounds cool. I'm not musical at all (unless you count singing along really badly as musical :P) The rest of my family are though, probably one of the reasons music never appealed to me (I have to be the odd one out) You have any other hobbies? (And I've always hated the word hobby for some reason)
